Scale your agency plan with client packs

As an agency grows, it needs room for more clients, more data sources to report on them, and more AI-powered work across the whole client list. The Agency plan starts with a base allowance for each of these, and client packs are how you scale past it — every pack you add increases your client limit, data source limit, and shared AI credit pool at the same time, in a single purchase.

Client pack capacity

The same purchase covers whichever reason you're scaling for:

  • Onboarding new clients
  • Adding data sources for clients you already manage
  • Growing the AI credit pool shared across all your clients

TipTip: If growing your AI credit pool is your only goal, buying a client pack isn't the most direct route — see Top up your AI credits for a top-up that adjusts credits on their own.

Add a client pack

  1. Go to Settings > Billing in your Databox account.
  2. Locate the Client pack card.
  3. Click Manage packs to open the Additional client packs panel.
  4. Use the slider to select how many packs you want in total.
  5. Review the updated client, data source, and AI credit limits, along with the prorated amount due today in the summary.
  6. Check the confirmation box, then click Confirm.

Once activated, the Your subscription section lists the client pack as a line-item add-on alongside your base plan, and your new limits take effect immediately.

NoteNote: Client pack cost is prorated the same way your subscription is. Adding a pack partway through your billing cycle only charges you for the remaining time in that cycle — for example, adding a pack at the midpoint of the month charges roughly half that month's cost upfront. Full-price charges begin on your next regular billing date, alongside the rest of your plan subscription.

Remove a client pack

  1. Go to Settings > Billing in your Databox account.
  2. In the Client pack card, click Manage packs.
  3. Use the slider to select the new, lower number of packs.
  4. Review the updated limits in the summary, check the confirmation box, then click Confirm.

WarningWarning: Removing a pack lowers your client, data source, and AI credit limits at your next renewal. If that puts you over the new limit, you're notified and must remove the excess clients or data sources yourself. Your AI credit pool also shrinks by the amount that pack granted. You keep access to the removed pack's limits for the rest of the current cycle, with no credit or refund for the unused time on that pack.

FAQ

Do client packs apply to standard accounts?

No, client packs are specific to Agency plan accounts. Standard accounts scale capacity by moving to a higher plan or tier instead — see Choose a subscription plan.

Does removing a client pack affect my billing cycle date?

No, your billing anchor date stays the same. Only the charge amount and your limits change starting with your next cycle.
