You can upgrade or downgrade your Databox subscription at any time to better align with your current needs. Whether you're expanding your usage or streamlining, changes take effect immediately and are prorated based on your current billing cycle.

Change your subscription plan

To upgrade or downgrade your Databox subscription:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing, then click Change plan in the Your subscription box.
    1. Or navigate directly to Settings > Plans to access the same options.
  2. Select the plan you want to switch to.
  3. Review the summary of billing changes.
  4. Click Confirm to apply the change.

Your subscription updates immediately, giving you instant access to any features not included in your previous plan.

After you upgrade

  • Upgrades take effect immediately.
  • Any new features or usage limits associated with the higher-tier plan are activated right away.
  • Your account is charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle.

After you downgrade

  • Downgrades also take effect immediately.
  • If you’ve already paid for the current billing period, the unused portion of your higher-tier plan will be prorated and credited toward your next invoice.
  • Features and limits that aren’t included in the new plan will be disabled or restricted immediately. Make sure to review usage and feature availability before confirming the downgrade.

Can I switch plans more than once?

Yes, you're free to change your plan as often as needed. Each change is billed or credited accordingly, based on the remaining time in your billing cycle.

Will I lose data when I downgrade?

No, your data will not be deleted. However, access to content tied to features no longer included in your subscription may be restricted or disabled.
