# Scale your agency plan with account packs

As your organization grows, it needs room for more accounts, more data sources to report on them, and more AI-powered work across every account. The Agency plan starts with a base allowance for each of these, and account packs are how you scale past it — every pack you add increases your account limit, data source limit, and shared AI credit pool at the same time, in a single purchase.

## Account pack capacity

The same purchase covers whichever reason you're scaling for:

- Onboarding new accounts
- Adding data sources for accounts you already manage
- Growing the AI credit pool shared across all your accounts

If growing your AI credit pool is your only goal, buying an account pack isn't the most direct route — see [Top up your AI credits](/top-up-your-ai-credits) for a top-up that adjusts credits on their own.

## Add an account pack

1. Go to [Settings > Billing](https://app.databox.com/settings/billing) in your Databox account.
2. Locate the **Account pack** card.
3. Click **Manage packs** to open the **Additional account packs** panel.
4. Use the slider to select how many packs you want in total.
5. Review the updated account, data source, and AI credit limits, along with the prorated amount due today in the summary.
6. Check the confirmation box, then click **Confirm**.

Once activated, the **Your subscription** section lists the account pack as a line-item add-on alongside your base plan, and your new limits take effect immediately.

Account pack cost is prorated the same way your subscription is. Adding a pack partway through your billing cycle only charges you for the remaining time in that cycle — for example, adding a pack at the midpoint of the month charges roughly half that month's cost upfront. Full-price charges begin on your next regular billing date, alongside the rest of your plan subscription.

## Remove an account pack

1. Go to [Settings > Billing](https://app.databox.com/settings/billing) in your Databox account.
2. In the **Account pack** card, click **Manage packs**.
3. Use the slider to select the new, lower number of packs.
4. Review the updated limits in the summary, check the confirmation box, then click **Confirm**.

Removing a pack lowers your account, data source, and AI credit limits at your next renewal. If that puts you over the new limit, you're notified and must remove the excess accounts or data sources yourself. Your AI credit pool also shrinks by the amount that pack granted. You keep access to the removed pack's limits for the rest of the current cycle, with no credit or refund for the unused time on that pack.

No, account packs are specific to the Agency plan. On every other plan, you scale capacity by moving to a higher plan or tier instead — see [Choose a subscription plan](/choose-a-subscription-plan).

No, your billing anchor date stays the same. Only the charge amount and your limits change starting with your next cycle.
