Changes to Databox Free and Starter Plans

Databox is sunsetting Free and Starter Plans on July 1, 2025. Upgrade by Aug 31 to keep access and avoid data sync interruptions.

What’s changing

We’re sunsetting the Free and Starter Databox Plans on July 1, 2025.

All existing users on the Free Plan will be given a free trial of the Professional Plan until August 31. At that time, all accounts will need to pay for a subscription of any paid plan to continue syncing your data and using Databox.

What does this mean for me?

For accounts on the Free Plan

On July 1, your account will be automatically moved to a free trial of the Professional Plan, which you will be able to use until August 31.

Between now and then, you’ll need to pay for a subscription of any paid plan to continue syncing your data and using Databox.

As a valued user, you have a limited-time opportunity to lock in the Starter Plan before it officially sunsets. Just upgrade before August 31 to be grandfathered into the plan and get access to:

  • Build unlimited dashboards to monitor the performance of every tool, team, or client.
  • Automate performance reports and share them with your stakeholders or clients.
  • Create goals and track them over time to make sure you hit them.
  • Save custom dashboard and report templates to streamline reporting across tools, teams, and clients.

Or, upgrade to the Professional Plan after your trial to track every metric that matters to your business:

  • Connect more data from spreadsheets, API, or 3rd party integrations.
  • Create custom metrics to track what matters most.
  • Sync data hourly, so you’re working with the latest insights.
  • Invite unlimited members to track key metrics, monitor performance, and share insights.

For accounts on the Starter Plan

You’ll be grandfathered into your current plan and pricing.

Why we’re making this change

Our mission has always been to make it as easy as possible for everyone in a company to access and analyze data to improve performance.

In recent years, we’ve taken big steps toward advancing that mission—adding new integrations, launching advanced analytics tools like datasets and metric drilldowns, and continuously improving the platform to be faster, more intuitive, and easier to use.

As we continue investing in our product, we’re simplifying our plans to focus on the features and support that help growing teams find the answers they need and improve performance faster, without added complexity.
