Databox provides a convenient feature for managing your reports by allowing you to archive them as PDF files or delete them when they are no longer needed. Archiving is particularly useful for preserving important information and insights in a universally accessible format, ensuring they are easy to reference and share without cluttering your active workspace.

Meanwhile, the deletion option helps you keep your workspace organized by removing outdated reports that no longer need to be stored. Together, these features offer flexibility in maintaining a clean, efficient workspace tailored to your current needs.

Archive a report

To archive a PDF version of your report in Databox, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Reports page and locate the report.
  2. Use one of the following methods:
    1. Hover over the report, click Edit, and click PDF in the top right corner.
    2. Or, click Share, select Download PDF, choose an export format, and then click Create PDF.

To access archived reports, navigate to Reports > Archive, where PDFs are available for download for up to 6 months.

Delete a report

To delete a report in Databox, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Reports page and locate the report.
  2. Use one of the following methods:
    • Hover over the report, click Edit, then click ... More > Delete in the top right corner.
    • Or, click More and select Delete in the dropdown menu.

To delete multiple reports at once:

  1. Go to the Reports page.
  2. Check the box at the top left of each report you want to delete.
  3. Click the dropdown menu next to the Favorite button in the top right, and select Delete.

FAQ

Can I recover a report after it has been deleted?

No. Once a report is deleted, it cannot be recovered. The deletion process is final, so please ensure that you no longer need the report before proceeding.
