GoHighLevel is an all-in-one sales and marketing platform built for agencies and small businesses, combining CRM, pipeline management, funnels, email and SMS campaigns, appointment scheduling, and workflow automation in a single system. Agencies use it to run their own business and manage client sub-accounts from one dashboard, often white-labeled as their own software. Connecting GoHighLevel to Databox brings your contacts, opportunities, and appointment data into your dashboards, so you can track pipeline health, lead volume, and marketing performance alongside your other business metrics.

Connection

Before you begin

If your credentials don't include full access to the data source, make sure your access level meets any permission requirements listed in the Specification section of the integration's page in the Metric Library.

You can also review the Databox app listing in the GoHighLevel Marketplace before connecting.

Step 1: Log in to HighLevel

If you've already established a connection, you can reuse it to add new accounts, as long as those accounts are accessible with the existing connection's credentials.

If you're not already logged in, click Login to continue with your HighLevel credentials. Clicking < Back instead returns you to the app listing.

NoteNote: If you're already logged in to HighLevel, log out and log back in before continuing, so the correct account is used to authorize the connection.

Enter your Email and Password, then click Sign in. Alternatively, click Sign in with Google.

Step 2: Review and confirm the connection

If you're already logged in to HighLevel, you'll land here directly. Review the permissions Databox is requesting on the account, along with the app's resources and support details, then click Next.

Step 3: Select an account

Choose the account you want to connect to Databox. Depending on how many accounts or sub-accounts you have access to, you'll see either a list to choose from or a searchable dropdown.

lock Datasets

The GoHighLevel integration supports the creation of datasets, which allow you to structure and format your GoHighLevel data for more flexible reporting in Databox. By organizing your data into a tabular format, datasets make it easier to filter, segment, and visualize key metrics across projects, clients, and team members.

The entity relationship diagram (ERD) below illustrates how data is organized within the GoHighLevel integration, displaying the available views and columns, as well as the relationships between them (primary and foreign keys). This diagram represents the schema, or structure, of the data and helps you understand the underlying data model. With this context, you can create datasets using the relevant views and columns to build custom metrics tailored to your reporting needs.

FAQ

Why are certain GoHighLevel fields or objects unavailable when creating a dataset?

Databox retrieves raw data directly from GoHighLevel's APIs. If a field or object is missing, it's likely due to limited API support or technical implementation restrictions. If there's something you'd like to see included, feel free to submit a request, so we can consider it for future updates to the integration.
