# Review active user sessions

Active user sessions represent all devices and locations where users are currently signed in to Databox. Reviewing sessions helps you spot unusual activity, identify outdated logins, and keep your account secure. Regular reviews are important because they can help detect unauthorized logins early, prevent security risks, and ensure only trusted devices remain connected. If you notice a session you don't recognize, you can immediately terminate it to protect your account.

## Review active user sessions

You can view details about each active login, search or filter sessions to narrow results, and end sessions individually or all at once. This gives you full control over where and how your account is accessed.

### View active sessions

1. Go to [Account Management > Advanced security > Active user sessions](https://account.databox.com/security/active-user-sessions).
2. **Check the session details**, including:
  1. **User** — the account owner of the session.
  2. **Account** — the Databox account the user is signed in to.
  3. **Application** — the application in use.
  4. **IP (Location)** — the IP and location the user signed in from.
  5. **Device (Browser)** — the device and browser used.
  6. **Created On** — when the session was initiated.

### Filter and search sessions

- **Use the search box** to quickly find sessions.
- **Filter by account, user, or application** to narrow down results.

### Terminate sessions

1. **Find the session** you want to end in the list.
2. Click **Terminate** next to it to sign the user out immediately.

No. The Active user sessions page only shows sessions that are currently active.

Active user sessions show *which logins are still active*, while login records show *when a sign-in happened*.

You will be signed out from that device and must sign in again.
