Integrate Facebook Pages with Databox
Analyze Facebook Pages performance in Databox to uncover insights, track engagement, and refine your social media strategy.
Availability
Facebook Pages provide businesses, creators, and organizations with a dedicated space to share updates, connect with audiences, and build their brand presence on Meta’s platform. They offer tools for content publishing, audience engagement, performance insights, and community management — helping users grow visibility, foster relationships, and strengthen their online identity.
Connection
Before you begin
If your credentials don’t include full access to the data source, make sure your access level meets any permission requirements listed in the Specification section of the integration's page in the Metric Library.
Step 1: Add or choose the connection
To connect Facebook Pages to your Databox account for the first time, log in using your Facebook credentials.
If you’ve already established a connection, you can reuse it to add new accounts, as long as those accounts are accessible with the existing connection's credentials.

Step 2: Allow Databox to access your data
When you approve the Databox app, you authorize a secure connection to your Facebook account. This allows Databox to access only the reporting data needed to track and visualize your Pages performance. No changes are made to your Pages, and you can revoke access at any time from your Facebook settings.
Note: If your Facebook credentials are saved in your browser, the account may be selected automatically during the connection process. If this isn’t the account you want to connect, we recommend completing the setup in an Incognito window to avoid automatic login.
Step 3: Select the Page
If you manage multiple Pages, select the one you want to connect from list. If you have only one Page, it will be selected automatically.

Updates
As of April 2025, Meta has been deprecating certain metrics in the Facebook Pages API while introducing several new ones. These updates reflect Meta’s broader shift toward Views-based reporting across its platforms.
Databox has updated the Facebook Pages integration to align with the latest API changes, removing deprecated metrics and adding newly available ones.

Full descriptions and technical details for the new metrics are available in the Metric Library.
Some deprecated metrics have already stopped syncing, while others will stop receiving new data by November 15, 2025, Meta’s official cutoff date. Previously synced data will remain accessible in Databox unless the affected metrics are removed from reports or deleted from their places of use.
