How to connect a native Data Source
By connecting your Data Source to Databox, you are establishing a connection between the Data Source's API and the Databox system. This allows Databox to start making regular data syncs to keep your Databox reports up-to-date. View the full list of integrated Data Sources here.
- Navigate to the Data Manager page
- Click on the green + New Connection button
- Search for the Data Source that you want to connect
- Hover over the Data Source and click the green Connect button to start the connection process
- Enter your login credentials in the popup window and follow the Data Source-specific steps to complete the connection process
How to connect a custom Data Source
If a native integration to your Data Source is not available, your first step should be to submit a Data Source request. These requests are tracked and help determine the prioritization of the development of new Data Source integrations.

SQL (Structured Query Language)
When data from a database needs to be stored and accessed in a pre-defined manner, SQL is likely the tool to use. Currently, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Redshift are supported SQL Data Sources in Databox.
