# Export a dataset

## Export a dataset

To export your dataset as a CSV file, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to [Data Manager > Datasets](https://app.databox.com/data-manager/datasets) page and locate the dataset you want to export. You can also start from within the dataset view by clicking the **...** menu in the top-right corner.
2. Click the **down arrow** (![chevron-down](/assets/chevron-down.dfd0e90adc6eb576be32262463090aae7c7f5408ed7975e3795f69775e36d174.419bb737.svg)) and select **Export data**.
3. Choose the columns you want to include in the export.
4. Click **Export data** to prepare the export.
5. Click **Download** or **Copy URL**, based on your needs.

CSV files can be downloaded via the URL for 30 days from the time of creation.
