Creating templates helps you standardize reporting across your team and streamline your workflows. By saving frequently used Databoards or reports as templates, you can quickly reuse layouts, visualizations, and data setups without starting from scratch each time.

More and select Save as Template.

- For Databoard templates, you can also manage who has access by setting visibility permissions.
- Click Save.
- Alternatively, you can create a template from the relevant Account Templates page by clicking + New Template at the top right and selecting an existing Databoard or report to save as a template.
Tip: You can also save a Databoard Loop as a template by following the same steps from the Looped Databoards page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will templates include data sources, datasets or metrics?
No. Templates only include the structure — such as integrations, metric settings, filters, layout, and visualizations. They do not include specific data. When the template is used, data is automatically populated based on the data source or dataset selected at that time.
