Explanation of User Types
It’s no secret that your company’s data is only as useful as the conversations you have about it and the action it inspires.
That’s why we wanted to make it super simple to leverage the collective intelligence of your team to proactively discuss and solve the problems your data highlight. Read on to learn about how to get new users to join you in Databox and start meaningful conversations around your data.
There are 3 user types within the Databox platform, each with specific access permissions and responsibilities.
You have the flexibility to have as many of each user type as you’d like based on the needs of your organization.
|Administrators have full access to Databox. They can create and manage users, edit user access levels, and create or edit data connections and databoards.||Users can view databoards on their mobile app, but cannot create or edit databoards, manage users, or edit data connections.||This is the access level for databoard editors. Editors can edit and delete all databoards that they have access to|
Only the administrator can invite new users to the account. This can be done via the Designer tool on a desktop device, or directly in the Databox mobile app.
Basic users are able to invite new users to the account as well, but invited users will need to be approved by an admin before getting an invite with their access credentials.
