Guide: Using MailerLite with Databox

Currently, there is not a direct Databox + MailerLite integration available, but there are alternative ways to sync your MailerLite data with Databox.

These alternatives utilize third-party integrations such as Zapier, Integromat, or the Databox API.

Pro Tip: If you don't have the time or resources to set this up yourself, check out our services where we can build the custom integration for you. For additional information, feel free to connect with our team via chat.

HOW TO

How to use Zapier to sync MailerLite data

Zapier is a trigger-based app, meaning you can have certain events (such as a new card being added) trigger certain actions (updating the relevant data and syncing with Databox) using Zaps. Because triggers initiate data syncs, historical data will not be available for metrics that are synced using Zapier.

Whenever possible, it’s recommended that you use a Zap Template. This will save you time and will streamline the process of syncing MailerLite data with Databox using Zapier.

You can also create Zaps from scratch if a Zap Template isn’t available.

Creating Zaps from scratch for MailerLite Metrics

The following MailerLite Metrics can also be synced with Databox by creating a Zap from scratch:

  • New Subscriber
(triggered when a new subscriber is created)
  • Subscriber Added to Group
(triggered when a subscriber is added to a group)
  • Subscriber Unsubscribed
(triggered when a subscriber has unsubscribed)
  • Subscriber Removed From Group
(triggered when a subscriber has been removed from a group)
  • Subscriber Added Through a Webform
(triggered when a subscriber is added through a specific webform)
  • Campaign Sent
(triggered when a campaign is sent)
  • Subscriber Bounced
(triggered when an email to subscriber bounces)
  • Spam Complaint
(triggered when subscriber issues a spam complaint about an email)
  • Subscriber Triggered Automation
(triggered when a subscriber has triggered a specific automation workflow)
  • Subscriber Completed Automation
(triggered when a subscriber completed a selected workflow)

How to use Integromat to sync MailerLite data

Integromat is a third-party integration that allows you to sync data between apps. Integromat has a long list of native integrations along with the ability to sync custom data via the API.

Whenever possible, it’s recommended that you use an Integromat Template. This will save you time and will streamline the process of syncing MailerLite data with Databox using Integromat.

If a Template isn’t available, you can sync additional MailerLite with Databox using Integromat by setting it up from scratch.

Syncing additional MailerLite Metrics using Integromat

The following MailerLite Metrics can also be synced with Databox by setting up the connection from scratch:

  • Watch Campaigns
(triggered when a new campaign is added)
  • List Subscriber Activity
(retrieves a list of subscriber activity)
  • List Subscriber Groups
(retrieves a list of groups subscriber belongs to)
  • List Campaigns
(retrieves a list of all campaigns by status)
  • List Groups
(retrieves a list of all groups)

Use the Databox API to sync MailerLite data

If you’re comfortable using scripting languages or you have developer resources available, you can build your own custom integration and push MailerLite data via the Databox API.
