HOW TO REPORT ON

How to report on Client-specific data

Many Agencies use 1 central CallRail Account for all of their Clients. If this is the case, you may want to report on CallRail data for one specific Client rather than Account-wide data from CallRail. This includes viewing data on "Total Calls," "Answered Calls," "Leads," etc. for one specific Client.

You can use Basic or Custom Metrics to report on Client-specific data from CallRail.

The Basic Metrics that are available all have "by Company" in the Metric name. These include "Missed Calls by Company," "First Time Callers by Company," and "Goal Completion Rate by Page."

To view a list of these Metrics, navigate to  Data Manager > Metrics in Databox and select CallRail from the Data Source drop-down. Type "by Company" in the Search bar to filter out all "by Company" Metrics.

In order to view the performance of a single Client, you'll need to set your Datablock up in a way that prompts you to select a specific Dimension (Company). Learn how to select a specific Company on a Datablock here

Custom Metrics can also be created to report on the performance of a single Client using the Metric Builder for CallRail.

Metric Builder is available on the Professional and higher plans. Request a trial of Metric Builder by following these steps.

To do this, you will need to use the Dimension "Company" in the Filter. This will allow you to specify the individual Client you want to sync data for.
For example, to report on the number of Answered Calls Client 1 logged this week, you can build the following Custom Metric:

Not only does Metric Builder for CallRail allow you to create Client-specific Metrics, but it also gives you the ability to combine multiple Dimensions and create more advanced CallRail Metrics.

An example of this would be creating a Custom Metric to report on "Total Calls by Source" for Client 1. This can be done through the following setup:

Another example would be if you wanted to track all calls a specific Agent made for Client 1. In this case, you can build the following Custom Metric:
