1. How to connect Magento to Databox

To connect Magento to Databox you need to create an Admin User in Magento. This Admin User is related to an API role. You can also use any existing user who has permissions to all resources in your store.

To create an Admin User with required permissions follow these steps:

  Go to the Magento store, log in with an Admin and go to System -> User Roles

   Add new user role and set Resource Access to All

  Go to System -> All Users and provide all the required account information including User Name, First and Last Name, Email, Password, etc.

  Go to User Role Tab and set the user role to the role you created in step (2)

  That's it! Now you can go into Databox, go to Data Manager > + New Connection > Search for "Magento" and fill out the fields shown in the popup:

2. How to build an Magento Databoard

Our Magento Integration currently does not include any predefined Templates, but you have the ability to use the Designer to create a new Databoard. Learn how to create a new Databoard from scratch using Magento Metrics. 

3. Most popular Magento metrics

Total Sales Pending Orders New Customers by Name

Total sales from your store during the selected date range. Number of pending orders in your store during the specified date range. Name and time of new customers registered in your store during the specified date range.

Only Magento Version 2 and above are supported.
