How to change the Date Range for multiple Datablocks

The Master Date Range Switch tool allows you to switch date ranges on multiple Datablocks at the same time.

If the same Date Range(s) are used across all Datablock on a Datablock, you will see them in the Master date range popup, located in the bottom right of the preview screen.

 Switch to Databoard Preview mode in the Designer or stream the Databoard (Read more about streaming Databoards)

 Click on the Date range button at the bottom of the Databoard and select desired date range.

There are some notable exceptions:

  • Multi-Tab Chart, Interval Numbers, and Notes Datablocks don't support multiple date ranges for now. Therefore, they will not be affected by the date range tool. 

Examples

1. In a Databoard, Datablock 1 has date ranges Last Month, Last 7 days, Last 30 Days and All Time selected. Datablock 2 has date ranges Today, Last 7 days and Last 30 Days. The master date range switch will allow you to navigate between Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days intervals.

2. In a Databoard, Datablock 1 has date ranges  Yesterday and This Week selected. Datablock 2 only has the date interval TodayMaster date range switch will not find any matching intervals.
